Student Groups

For 18 years, God's Love We Deliver has been a host site for college students who come from all over the country to provide service to communities in need, to meet people different than themselves, to challenge closely-held ideas, and to hone their leadership skills for the 21st century. Between September and March they secure housing, find a site, raise the money to pay for the trip, build their team and have some fun while they do good work. The trip ends when they roll up their sleeping bags from the floor of a church, get back on the bus and drive home.

Started in Nashville at Vanderbilt University over 20 years ago, Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is now a national movement. The philosophical focus is on service and social justice; the process is shaped by experiential learning: from learning to collective practice through reflection and then back again.
