Group Profile - Polo Ralph Lauren

The Polo community has been a friend to God's Love We Deliver for many years. Early supporters of the Race to Deliver, hundreds of people have run and walked annually to raise thousands of dollars for the agency and to spread the word about our work. This year, through the coordination of the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation, over 170 people registered and Polo fielded the largest team ever.
When we asked for extra help in February, they took the same energy and commitment to the kitchen. Polo responded by filling 16 out of a possible 36 shifts in the month. Sixteen teams of more than 130 employees took time from their work giving more than 500 hours of service. We sped through the darkest days of the winter on the generosity of these good friends. And you can tell from the picture, all of them fit right in!

Here's some feedback from the PRLF office:

• Our volunteers come back and tell me how wonderful you and your staff and volunteers are.
• We have two really great groups of people who work well together.
• The reason we're there carries enormous weight - you wouldn't convince our staff to take a morning off for just anything.
• They truly understand what they are doing and why - it's sobering and that's why they come away feeling so good.
• This has been a wonderful way to spend February.

Teams came from Human Resources, Advertising, Design, Home Design, Club Monaco, Harriman, Lyndhurst, Merchandising, Legal, Fashion, Children's Wear, Finance, and Marketing.
